So I thought Halloween this year would be a lot of fun for Dane but he still wasn't into it. I spent a long time trying to figure out what costume to get because he is so strong willed and uninterested I figured he would refuse to wear whatever I got. I started thinking about what he really likes which is "guns" so I knew I had to get a costume that would include a gun to make my life easier. He didnt seem to mind it much but wasn't crazy about the hat. Brynna was a Kangaroo with a baby joey in her pouch. She on the other hand was all excited about taking candy and putting it in her bag.
I took them to the YMCA for trunk or treat and then we went to Zona Rosa but that only lasted about 10 mins. I figure I wont waste my time if they are not excited to do it. The YMCA at least has bounce houses and coloring stations which the kids did enjoy. They even did a cake walk for a cookie.
We also carved pumpkins for the first time, I don't think I even did that as a kid. Dane and I did a very simple one but Jacob got all fancy with his.
