Dane is having a rough week with his poor front tooth coming in. It has poked through but is not all the way up yet. He is such a trooper but when I lay him down to sleep the poor guys just cries and cries. I think it bothers him more when he is laying down. We are medicating and doing everything we can to make it better, hopefully this will pass quickly. Other than the teething he is still shouting from the roof tops on a daily basis. I think that is his new way of communicating. It is all fine for about a minute and then I am ready for him to stop. I would have thought he would be trying to crawl by now but he doesn't seem interested at all. If there is something on the floor he can't reach he would rather cry then try to get it. He can roll over but never does for the sake of getting something. Jacob has been working with him on his walking so maybe he will just skip all that crawling stuff.
Last week I started back to work on a very part time and temporary basis. I think the timing is good because I do not want Dane to be so attached to me that he doesn't feel comfortable anywhere else. I am so blessed that my Aunt has summers off and has agreed to watch him for me while I work. She is so great with Dane and really seems to enjoy spending the quality time with him. I know some of my fondest memories from childhood was being with my grandparents and my aunt. Dane is so lucky to have so many people that adore him. I am still planning on having lots of time off to go to the pool and play. I took Dane to the park last Saturday and pushed him in the baby swing. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me but he loved it. I will make sure I have it next time.
